Sentry MCP Connector

Connect Sazabi to Sentry through MCP to browse errors and issues.

The Sentry MCP connector lets Chat browse error data and issues in your Sentry account. This enables deeper investigation of errors captured by Sentry.

About the Sentry MCP connector

The Sentry MCP connector gives Chat read-only access to your Sentry account. With this connector, Chat can:

  • Access error details and stack traces
  • List and search issues
  • View issue status and assignments
  • Access project and team information

Prerequisites

Before connecting Sentry via MCP, make sure you have:

  • A Sazabi account with admin permissions.
  • A Sentry organization with API access.

Connecting Sentry

Open MCP Connectors

Go to Settings -> MCP Connectors in the Sazabi dashboard.

Select Sentry

Find Sentry in the list of available connectors and click Connect.

Authorize access

You will be redirected to Sentry to authorize Sazabi. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize.

Verify connection

After authorization, you will be returned to Sazabi. The Sentry connector should show as connected with available tools listed.

Available tools

Once connected, the Sentry MCP connector provides read-only tools to Chat for:

  • Issue listing and search
  • Error details and stack traces
  • Viewing issue status and assignments
  • Project and event access

Usage examples

With the Sentry MCP connector, you can ask Sazabi to:

Show me the most frequent Sentry errors this week
Get details on Sentry issue PROJ-123
What Sentry issues are assigned to me?
List open issues in the backend project

Sending logs vs connector

Sazabi supports Sentry data in two ways:

FeatureSentry Data SourceSentry MCP Connector
PurposeSend error data to SazabiAccess Sentry tools
Data flowSentry to SazabiSazabi to Sentry
ExampleQuery errors in SazabiManage issues in Sentry

You can use both together: send Sentry data to Sazabi for unified search, and use the connector to manage issues directly in Sentry.

Troubleshooting

Connection failed

If the OAuth flow fails:

  1. Verify you have permission to authorize apps in your Sentry organization.
  2. Check that your Sentry plan supports API integrations.
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.

Cannot access issues

If issue access fails:

  1. Verify the Sentry connector is still connected.
  2. Check that you have permission to access the project.
  3. Ensure the issue or project exists.
