With the Sazabi integration for Linear, you can:
- Automatically create Linear issues from critical errors based on severity, frequency, or affected user count.
- Include full error context, stack traces, and affected user information in each created issue.
- Search for and surface related Linear issues in your incident timeline.
- Link new incidents to existing issues to track patterns and recurring problems.
- Receive automatic updates when incidents are resolved, with investigation findings attached to the Linear issue.
Prerequisites
Before you connect Linear, make sure you have:
- A Sazabi account. Request access at sazabi.com
- A Linear workspace where you have permission to manage integrations.
Installation
Connect to Linear
Click + Add connection. If you are not already signed in to Linear, Linear prompts you to sign in.
Grant access
Review the requested permissions and click Authorize to grant Sazabi access to your Linear workspace.
Configure team mappings
Under Settings -> Integrations -> Linear, configure which teams and projects should receive automatic issue creation.
Set up issue creation rules
Configure rules to determine which errors trigger new issues based on:
- Severity level
- Error frequency
- Affected user count
How it works
Once connected, Sazabi monitors your production errors and incidents. When configured thresholds are met, Sazabi automatically creates a Linear issue with full context.
When incidents are detected, Sazabi searches for related Linear issues and surfaces them in your incident timeline. This helps engineering teams see patterns and recurring problems at a glance.
When incidents are resolved in Sazabi, the linked Linear issue is updated with investigation findings for future reference.
