Understand Sazabi's pricing model, view your usage, and manage your subscription.
Sazabi bills based on usage. Understand how pricing works, monitor your usage, and manage your subscription.
Pricing model
Sazabi pricing is based on two primary factors:
- Log volume: The amount of log data ingested per month, measured in GB.
- Chat usage: The number of messages exchanged with Chat.
This usage-based model means you only pay for what you use. Small teams can start with the free tier and scale up as needed.

Scale plans include custom retention periods, volume discounts, and dedicated support. Contact sales for pricing.
Viewing usage
Monitor your current usage to understand your costs and avoid unexpected charges.
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
View Usage tab
Click the Usage tab to see your current period's usage.
Review metrics
Review your usage metrics:
- Log volume: GB of logs ingested this billing period
- AI messages: Number of assistant messages used
- Storage: Total data stored across all projects
Usage resets at the start of each billing period. Historical usage is available in the usage history section.
Managing payment
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
Add payment method
Click Add payment method.
Enter card details
Enter your credit card information and click Save.
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
Open payment methods
Click Payment methods to see your current cards.
Add new card
Click Add payment method to add a new card.
Set as default
Click the menu icon (...) next to the new card and select Set as default.
Remove old card
Click the menu icon (...) next to the old card and select Remove.
Invoices and receipts
View and download invoices for your records.
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
View Invoices tab
Click the Invoices tab to see your billing history.
Download invoice
Click on any invoice to view details or click Download to save a PDF.
Upgrading your plan
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
Click Upgrade
Click the Upgrade button.
Select new plan
Choose your new plan tier (Startup, Growth, or Scale).
Confirm payment method
Verify your payment method is correct or add a new one.
Complete upgrade
Click Confirm upgrade. Your new plan takes effect immediately.
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are billed a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
Downgrading your plan
To downgrade to a lower tier:
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
Click Change plan
Click Change plan to see available options.
Select lower tier
Choose the plan you want to downgrade to.
Confirm changes
Review what changes with the downgrade and click Confirm.
Downgrading may reduce your retention period, team member limit, or integration count. Make sure your current usage fits within the new plan's limits before downgrading.
Cancellation
To cancel your Sazabi subscription:
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
Click Cancel subscription
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel subscription.
Confirm cancellation
Review the cancellation details and confirm.
Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your organization is downgraded to the free tier.

Usage alerts
Set up alerts to be notified when you approach usage limits:
Go to Billing settings
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Billing.
Configure alerts
Under Usage alerts, set thresholds for when you want to be notified (e.g., 80% of log volume limit).
Save settings
Click Save to enable the alerts.
Usage alerts are sent to all organization admins via email.
